Mastering Difficult Performance Conversations

This project is a comprehensive leadership training module designed to teach managers how to navigate high-stakes performance conversations. It focuses on replacing ineffective communication habits with a strategy centered on transparency, data-driven feedback, and collaborative problem-solving.

This module equips managers to navigate high-stakes performance reviews by replacing defensive "conflict traps" with a tactical framework for accountability.

Developed using an iterative SAM approach, I moved beyond theory to create a scenario-based simulation. This allows learners to practice the "Data Pivot"—shifting conversations from subjective "vibes" to objective metrics—and the "Isolate & Empower" technique for handling external blame.

Instructional Impact:

  • ADDIE & SAM: Leveraged iterative cycles to refine vague feedback into high-utility, diagnostic tools.

  • Andragogy: Centered on immediate, task-based problem solving for the adult professional.

  • Bloom’s Taxonomy: Progresses from understanding core concepts to analyzing and solving complex human deflections.

A streamlined learning experience that bridges the gap between "knowing" leadership theory and "executing" it under pressure, driving measurable behavioral change in management.

Survival Spanish for the Workplace

Part 1

This module introduced essential Survival Spanish skills focusing on greetings, basic interactions, and choosing the correct register (“tú” vs. “usted”) in real-world situations. Through scenario-based practice, interactive activities, and a final quiz, I learned how to communicate respectfully and effectively in everyday contexts.

This microlearning module introduces key Survival Spanish skills for the workplace, including greetings, language-preference questions, and choosing the correct register. I designed the experience using ADDIE/SAM principles—defining objectives, structuring content for quick retention, and integrating interactive practice, cultural notes, and a final assessment. Developed in Storyline 360, the module showcases my ability to create clear, engaging, and learner-centered training solutions.
